Heloise Wilson

HELOISE WILSON is an award-winning actress and writer. She is bicoastal and splits her time between NY and Los Angeles while also regularly working in Europe.

She can be seen on the first season of the TV show “Unwanted” on Apple TV and Sky.

Her TV show concept Weezy Goes Outside was selected for the mentorship program launched by Catalyst Institute in partnership with the Emmys. She has performed, been produced, and developed at The Tank, Roundabout Theatre, The Flea, Dixon Place, JACK, The Fringe circuit, Moxie Arts, Culture Lab, the I.R.T Theatre, Brooklyn College, and much more. She is the recipient of the Literary Truman Capote Prize in playwriting (2013) and a double recipient of the Himan Brown award in creative writing (2014 and 2015). Heloise was a playwright in residency with FaultLine’s Irons in the Fire with her play “Democra” directed by Kathleen Capdesuñer. In 2021, her play The Flower That Fell from the Sky received a grant from the Western Australian government and was produced at the Blue Room in Perth. In 2022, she was a screenwriter-in-residence at the Pigneto Film Festival in Rome and a playwright-actor-in-residence with Trinacria Theatre Company in Sicily. Heloise is an affiliated New Georges Artist. In 2024, Heloise’s play Big Feelings was selected for a New York Foundation for the Arts grant. It is currently touring the Tri-State area.

As a writer, Heloise focuses on woman-driven whimsical dramedies and psychological thrillers with a social lens. Her plays are interview-based and rooted in documentary practices.

Heloise is also in several national commercial campaigns and is the voice of various commercials for Shopify.
